The National President of the Union of Forces of Change (UFC), Gilchrist Olympio permanently withdraws from Togolese political life. At more than 80 years old, the son of the first president of the Togolese Republic, Sylvanus Olympio, will announce in the coming hours his decision to leave the head of the party he founded in the 90s.
