University of Lomé: The President of the LTDE arrested

This Wednesday, as announced, students of the Lomé University gathered in the Togolese League of Student Rights (LTDE) had to hold a GA, whose objective is to report the meeting of the leaders of the league with the Minister Of Higher Education. Unfortunately, this meeting, like last Wednesday, was disrupted by the security forces.

Indeed, Tuesday students met Nicoué Broohm, the minister in charge of Higher Education. After discussions, no solution was found and both sides separated with fishtail.

In order to give back to the student comrades what happened at this meeting yesterday, a General Assembly was organized today on the university campus. It was during this GA that the police took control of Folly Satchivi, the president of the LTDE.

The League demands the release of Satchivi, who was victim a week ago of the brutality of the bodies dressed.
