As foreseen in the government's program, traditional religions open the ceremony of purification ceremonies in Togo this morning.
For the Gulf Prefecture, the ceremonies will take place on the banks of the Bè lagoon, at the level of the community center. But already, the traditional priests have begun the rites on behalf of the new prefecture of Agoè Nyivé since 8am.

However, at the beginning of the week, the traditional chiefs of Togo agreed that as a prelude to these ceremonies, oracles had been consulted and instructions to be followed by the Togolese people and the rulers had been prescribed by the deities.
According to testimony from both sides on the television sets last Tuesday, respect for the prescriptions of the deities will be decisive as to an effective and definitive purification of Togo, for the blood of sons and daughters accidentally shed since the colonial era .
God has foreseen what the soil will eat and it is not human blood said a priest. Hence the need to purify the soil. Both are curious as to the instructions which will accompany these rites!
