Recovery of the Lomé-Vogan-Anfoin shipyard: the Craph always dubious

On 4th July last, the Minister in charge of Infrastructure and Transport, Ninsao Gnofam, announced in a press release the resumption of work on the redevelopment of the Lomé-Vogan-Anfoin axis. But until now, the work is struggling to restart. Apart from the craft, no worker is on the job site. The residents and users are indignant.

Speaking on Radio Zéphyr Wednesday, Sohey Dosseh, Chairman of the Committee for Reflection and Action for the Promotion of Human Rights (CRAPH), also expressed his indignation. He said he was skeptical about the Minister's decision to resume work on the Lomé-Vogan Anfoin track.

For him, it is not enough just to announce the resumption of work and dispatch gear on the site. What we want are results or the actual realization of the work.

"The minister comes to the National Assembly to tell members that the road will be made by the end of 2016. But the road was not built, so when the minister's release came out, we N' We have not made any statement. We have come to a time when we must be St. Thomas.

Because from the moment when the person makes statements and does not execute, and subsequently when he issues a communiqué, it is evident that we are St. Thomas, that is to say, Realize before believing, "said Sohey Dosseh. And to continue:" People say that gear is on the way. Yes and then what? We do not want gear. We want results. "

Note that the road nº34 redevelopment work was again entrusted to the Chinese company" China Road and Bridge Corporation ".

Must we recall, with these periods of rain, the state Of this road, baptized road of the shame, has considerably degraded.

Oruko Amutorunwa (Pre-Destined Names) In Yorubaland

Ibeji (Twins) In Yoruba land, one of the most important things done when a child is born is to give the child a name. This comes after the child’s ritual birth, massage of specific body parts and other rites as well. Names are given to the child by the father, mother, grandparents (paternal and maternal) and some close relatives also. But sometimes, the circumstance of a child’s birth will automatically give the child a name. This name is known as ‘orúko àmútọ̀runwá’ (pre-destined or generic name) in Yorubaland. The most common generic names (orúko àmútọ̀runwá) in Yoruba land are ‘Taiwo‘ and ‘Kehinde‘ (altogether known as Ìbejì) which are given to twins. The first born of the twins is called Táíwò, a shortened form of Tò-aiyé-wò (taste the world) while the last born of the twins is called Kéhìndé which literally means “the last to come”. Contrary to the popular belief that Taiwo, being the first born of the twins, is old
