Nicolas Lawson believes in mobilizing people to bring about change

The president of the Party of Renewal and Redemption, Nicolas Lawson reiterates his confidence in the general mobilization of the Togolese people to bring about the political alternation and the change in Togo. This is what emerges once again from his analysis made public earlier this week. Reading !

No politician or political party can substitute for a people to save it from chaos without providential determination. I know it instinctively and through experience. That is why I affirmed it since the Sovereign National Conference in the face of the pretensions of the supposed messiahs, the egocentrics and their lackeys. It is the general mobilization of our people, which will bring about change, bring about the alternation and allow the national recovery. It is fortunate that today, and after misguidance and tragedy, political adventurers recognize this reality and proclaim it in their meetings and on radio stations, finally calling on the Togolese people to take control of their destiny in order to determine the outcome Of the crisis we have been living for decades.

How could it have been so long for the majority of our people to understand that political parties, if they are unanimous in opposing power, are not in agreement to achieve change and Alternation? Having been betrayed and humiliated by the Prime Minister of the Transition, I realized that I should never again trust a so-called opponent, having no project, no vision, no national ambition and mostly no talent Statesmen and builders of great nations.

The struggle for the democratization of our society has been long and painful. But the Republic will be saved when the mass of our people trusts themselves in order not to lose their sovereignty for the benefit of any leader of the opposition or a leader of that opposition. The intolerable usurpations of the opposition leaders, one after the other, have for a long time masked the criminal subversion of the servants of power in power, but fortunately have ended up edifying the majority of our people.

Only 25% of our electorate have participated in the last two legislative elections in 2013 and the 2015 presidential elections.

Besides, the derogatory assessments and caricatures of these groups of supporters vis-à-vis my person have never discouraged me. I know that for them and their fraternal clientele, the only criticism of power seems more convenient and remunerative than the support for my project of society of a rude and ambitious national enterprise. So if I am armored against their calumnies and slanders, I am none the less afflicted by their excesses and their nuisances to the national community.

I would like to make the political, professional and other fiefs, even if they are summed up, understood that their criticisms and interests do not express the will of the people, nor do they defend their collective interest. The time has come when I need the warm confidence of our nation to definitively fix the country, to ensure a strong Republic and to clear the national horizon of the current confusion. I remain the recourse to put the country in order and under a new discipline. It is not a question of replacing the present government with political or political neophytes. It will be a matter of straightening a country into economic bankruptcy and moral bankruptcy.

The Togolese people must have confidence in me to implement an innovative and bold economic and social policy. We must astonish the world well after having wandered and belittled our country. Society is divided politically and socially. The present government has failed and the authority of the state is everywhere flouted. After the throwing of stones at Glidji and the customary rivalries (prefecture of lakes), it is around the prefecture of Koza where the houses of a traditional chief and a prefect are burnt. Where is Togo going? That's enough ! And it is necessary to restore the country in order and restore the joy of life and the pride to the Togolese.

I invite our people to abandon the partisan spirit, to have faith in God, to be bold and rigorous in their judgment. Everything is possible to him who has faith and who grows in his star. Togo was created to be great. It will be so and I will use it if our people wake up and trust the PRR and its allies in 2018 or earlier. If the people mobilize for change, no force can resist it. We are ready to ensure a radical change in the governance of the country, to engage the nation in a full economic and social boom, to fill the coffers of the currently empty state, to ensure full employment, modernize our sectors of the " National education, public health and agriculture, to restore discipline and order in society and to restore the prestige of the country to the highest in West Africa. We have the key to national recovery, to restore the authority of the state, To strengthen national unity and human solidarity and to end social injustice and endemic and chronic corruption.

No one can use the State any more to maintain social injustice, plunder national resources and undermine our individual and collective freedoms. Our movement is ready to lead Togo and its people to this miraculous change. The world will be admiring at such a metamorphosis of our public authorities, which will now present a figure of assurance, equity, serenity and justice. Togo will not leave the CFA zone, will not change currency but will act aggressively and with foresight for the revision of the WAEMU Treaty. We will lead to the renewal of the ECOWAS protocol to adapt it to our times and to meet the challenges of poverty and the backwardness of our societies. We promise that by 2015, both foreigners will realize that Togo has entered history and is part of the so-called civilized countries. We will then carry the torch of light for this 21st century.

The new Togolese Republic, after the global reforms we will commit, will bring the state upright, the national economy in order and our society will progress in the prosperity and well-being of the populations. God Almighty is our inspiration and our support. We know his prodigies and we have confidence and faith in him. Let him guide us and protect our beloved homeland.
