The Beninese of Togo commemorated their Independence Day in Lomé



On Tuesday, 1 August 2017, the people of Benin commemorated the 57th anniversary of their country's accession to international sovereignty. Even out of their native land, the Beninese of Togo were keen to celebrate this event with enthusiasm and fraternal enjoyment in Lomé. An initiative of the Beninese Community of Togo (CBT).



It is through an evening of reunion between sons and daughters of Benin, supported by other foreign communities in Togo. The evening was held in a hotel in Lomé, more precisely in the neighborhood Kégué-Kélégougan, where the head of the district, Togbui Ali Komla V honored with his presence. Also present were representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the president of the African Diaspora Forum (ADF) and several officials from other foreign communities.

The Beninese community in Togo (CBT) is an integral part of the ADF, a forum that promotes the intermingling of foreign communities in Togo. "We congratulate the brothers of Benin for this event. We all feel on our own land in Togo. We must also work together so that all the Beninese brothers, Especially their community can flourish in Togo, a sister country that welcomes us, "said Amos Darbur, president of the ADF.

Togo and Benin share the same cultural values, and therefore must cultivate these bonds of fraternity for the Director of the Togolese from outside, representing the Minister of Foreign Affairs. "The Beninese must feel at home in Togolese soil. We have the same story, "he said.

Whether the President of the Ibo Community, Chief Obi, the High Council of Congolese Abroad, Ruben Monama or Chadian Mahama Djbril, all invited the Beninese community to Togo to count on their support for their development in Togo .

Nearly 200 Togolese workers falsely dismissed by the Chinese company CRBC
