The employees of the Lomé Transport Company (Sotral) are going on strike this Wednesday until Friday. The perpetual demand for the improvement of their living and working conditions is the cause.
For the umpteenth time, the employees of Sotral start a break of 72 hours. Among other things, they require the payment of salaries by the 8th of the month, the classification of the salary scale, the increase in the duration of the contract, the authorization of the use of vacations canceled by management.
As the employer does not support their demands, they intend to push for a three-day strike.
According to them, the latter does not have to make their claims, despite all the previous negotiations.
The passengers of the Sotral buses will then have to make do to circulate until Friday.
