Argument of religious fundamentalism: Did Faure serve Biya?

From Lome to Douala, the argument of religious extremism to demonize opposition is the new find of dictators driven by the desire to die in power.

In Cameroon, from North to South, from West to East, "it flies everywhere." Secessionist tendencies seize the regions, anger rages, the protest movements are triggered, the health system is alarming, corruption is in vogue, the state coffers are strongly held by the small oligarchic who has as she wants. It's the whole country that is getting out of control and out of control.

Obviously, the president and his government are struggling to control the situation. For 58 years, the country has never known a political alternation. Despite his very advanced age, the old bedridden Paul Biya in power out of the woods and starts to seek a new term as head of the country in the presidential election next October. While in the country several regions are in the grip of secessionist movements.

The English part, forgotten by the governance of Paul Biya, revolts. But the power refuses to take into account its demands. The protests result in killings: civilians as military. But arrests too, sides population. The country burns; but at the level of power, one tries to minimize the situation and to serve the argument of fundamentalist extremism. "From time to time there have been some relatively dysfunctional scenes in some areas, this is due to fundamentalist extremism in the northern part, a Muslim fundamentalism that is being fought around the world," he said. RFI, the Minister of Higher Education, Jacques FameNdongo, Secretary of Communication of the CPDM, the party in power.

In Togo, Faure Gnassingbe's regime, which has been the subject of strong opposition, has already used the same argument to try to save the face of the international community and destabilize the opposition. Its main target, TikpiAtchadam, leader of the PNP (National Pan-African Party), the star of the triggering of the historic mobilization that began on August 19, 2017. Here and elsewhere, the power began a campaign of intoxication and demonization of this opponent which, for the first time, succeeded in shaping the whole country against the fiftieth century and making it lose the northern part. Everywhere the street roars with anger. Even in the most remote hamlets where we do not manifest, we call for a return to the 1992 Constitution and the immediate departure of Faure Gnassingbé. He is qualified by the jihadist power,

In an interview with Brother Jeune Afrique, Faure Gnassingbé reaffirmed the same accusations as a result of his pawns. Even the government sent a report to that effect to the White House. Today, TikpiAtchadam fearing for his life, is in the maquis.

And it is a method that is likely to spread the word on the continent and inspire dictators who could use extremism, religious fundamentalism as an argument to drown the protest movements. But that would be without counting with the determination of the peoples fighting for their liberation from oppression.

John XII: The Pope who turned the Vatican to a Whorehouse

Octavianus was only 18 years old when he ascended the Papacy of the Roman Catholic Church and became Pope John XII on December 16, 955. He was the only son of Duke Alberic II (932–954) of Spoleto, then ruler of Rome. Alberic, before his death in 954, made Roman nobles swear at St. Peter's altar that they would make his son, Octavianus, pope at the first vacancy. Since the leaders loved the dying father, they kept their word to him and elected Octavianus as the 130th Roman Catholic Pope succeeding Pope Agapetus II after the pope’s death on November 8, 955. Octavianus adopted the apostolic name of John XII. He was the third pontiff to take a regnal name upon elevation to the papal chair; the first being Pope John II (533–535), whose birth name was Mercurius and the second, Pope John III (561–574), whose birth name was Catelinus. Right from the start, in relation to secular issues, the new pope issued his directives under the name of Octavianus, while in all matters relating t...
