From Dapaong to Lomé, this week seems to be that of students on the streets since yesterday, these children in khaki invest the streets with signs "We want our teachers and our courses", then dislodge their comrades from private schools.
If the hospitals are empty this morning, the schools are even more so. The social front has therefore hardened the tone, and the government of Faure Gnassingbé seems back to the wall.
The slogans of strikes follow each other in the health sector, in the public service and among the teachers with whom the government seems to have played all its cards.
Students invade the streets and the situation remains very tense in the interior of the country, as in Lomé, where a procession of student demonstrators decided to dislodge their comrades from private schools. Other students will simply play, failing to demonstrate.
This is the face of education in Togo under Faure Gnassingbe
