Twenty-five women processors from the Plateaux region are in a training workshop on standards and standards (HACCP) from 18 to 21 July in the city of Atakpamé.
Organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), this workshop is part of Project TCP / TOG / 3503, an instrument to support women's Compliance with quality and processing standards for agricultural products ". It therefore reinforces the capacities of the participants and advises them to seize the opportunities that are available to them.
During the work, they are maintained on TBT, SPS, Global GAP, organic farming, food safety management system (HACCP); The foundations and PRP of (HACCP), the establishment and management of HACCP, among others.
The project leader, Diwa Oyetoundé, explains that this training will enable these women to compete in the market and better sell their products. According to him, "this project will enable them to strengthen their capacities so that exports of processed agricultural products to Togo can improve and that Togo can export out of the country and benefited from the AGOA
