Democracy needs citizen action

The Flambeau citoyen movement organized a conference-debate on Saturday 15 July in Lomé on the theme: "Promoting effective and responsible citizen participation for better democratic governance". The aim is to encourage young people to take an interest in the management of public affairs.

About 100 young people were interviewed about their contribution to the democratization of their country.
