The President of Gabon, Ali Bongo Ondimba is expected in Lomé this Thursday, July 13. He is the guest of his counterpart of Togo, Faure Gnassingbé, officially, a working visit.
The President of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), Faure Gnassingbé, receives the Gabonese Ali Bongo for a working session in Lomé.
According to togobreakingnews.info "This is a first diplomatic visit for the Gabonese Head of State in Togo". This source states that "Mr. Bongo, which was unable to attend the Lome summit on maritime security following the crisis in its country after the presidential elections, will have the opportunity to meet with his counterpart from Togo on matters of general interest.
