For the 47th edition, the sons and daughters of the prefecture of Zio celebrated the harvest festival of the bean known as Ayiza. For this edition, Egypt was the guest of honor.
Placed under the theme "Ayiza or social cohesion, the foundation of the development of our Prefecture", she saw the participation of Zio nationals and various guests who came to appreciate the cultural wealth of the locality.
In his message, Minister Guy Madjé Lorenzo in charge of Culture has suggested that the cohesion between sons and daughters of Zio remains the under-base of any development.
For the record, the ancestors of this people from Nostè arrived in the town of Gamé (prefecture of Zio), where, given the fertility of the soil, they sowed beans there. The time to decide to continue their itinerary, they say among themselves that "Ayia Nevesévié", "that the bean produces a little" Hence the name Tsévié that the city that hosts this celebration carries. After the abundant harvest, a part remained there.
The apotheosis ended with the distribution of the food (new bean).
