The birth certificate, the first piece of identification that every child should have is a luxury for others. At least fifty children from the township of Gléi, Katoré, Akparé and Atcha (135 km north of Lomé) received their birth through the NGO "Togo-To-Togo".
This project was realized thanks to the financing of the Ong Laboratoranti Nel Si based in Italy to the amount of 1.3 million CFA francs.
"A dream come true", it is in these words that the president of the NGO Togo-To-Togo, Dieudonné Thaddee, described this gesture. The action of goodwill was also welcomed.
The parents, who were primarily responsible for bringing these children to the world, were also made aware of the need for birth certificates.
The NGO "Togo-To-Togo" has been established since 2008 and supports education, health and civic training.
