Since the tragic events of 19 August, a new wind has blown over the political parties with the rapprochement of the different groups (Cap 2015, G6 and PNP). Civil society also is not. It announces actions to support the process initiated.
"Since the demonstrations, civil society has been terribly challenged by the tragic events we have all witnessed and experienced, and we already have some consultations with civil society organizations and the appeal that was launched today still gives More force, more tone and a willingness so that this civil society can position itself clearly and give its point of view on the events that are happening in our country ", suggested the Coordinator of the Social Universities of Togo ( UST), Prof. David Dosseh.
Even if civil society has not yet taken action, it promises to return to the dance to lend a hand to the Togolese opposition who understood its role.
And David Dosseh added: "I can say that in the next few hours I am sure that the Togolese civil society will also position itself so that things finally begin to move in the right direction.
To do so, a major press conference is announced so that the Togolese civil society clearly announces its approach.
