"The Minister of Higher Education and Research informs the holders of the Baccalauréat second part, session of July 2017, aged 23 years and wishing to continue their study in Morocco that they can file their applications to the Directorate of Scholarships and Internships. Applications must include unauthorized copies of the birth certificate, the nationality certificate and the Bac transcript. The files will be received from 10 to 14 August 2017, "it is essentially the communiqué of Nicoué Broohm dated 07 August.
Since yesterday, more than 42,000 students have earned their Bac. And among this multitude, some ambition to continue their study in Morocco. Only this dream will be difficult to realize as the deadline for filing records does not allow them to take possession of their statement.
In Togo, pupils' statements do not come out until weeks after the proclamation of the results. Moreover, the first wave of the surveys is intended for the adjourned. It is only a few days after the proclamation of the results that the admitted have their records. This will mean that without a statement, since the deadline is August 14 (next Monday), several students will see the doors of Moroccan universities close without being able to act.
The impasse in fact is due to the delay in the start of the exams because of the strikes that have taken place in the year. But these students have nothing to do with it. They are only victims of the interests pursued by their teachers and the categorical refusal of the government to find a solution to the educational crisis.
Initially scheduled for June 19-23, Bac II will take place only from July 10 to 14, 2017.
