All in the great peaceful markets of Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 September 2017! On September 11, 2017, the Workers' Party called on the Togolese people to participate massively in the series of demonstrations called on September 12, 15, 20 and 21, 2017 by the PNP and the political parties members of the CAP 2015 and GROUPE DES 6 groups, People's Health and RAC. As a result of this call, the ruling UNPROFOR regime has consistently refused to allow the Togolese people's determination to win the unconditional and immediate return to the original 1992 Constitution and the right to vote for the Togolese people. Togolese of the Diaspora.
This is what this dying regime has been showing since Monday, September 11, in the National Assembly through its comedy around an unconstitutional new bill of constitutional reform designed to save and maintain institutions of the EYADEMA-GNASSINGBE dynasty, in the forefront of which Faure Essozimna, himself, as President of the Republic. This, while by millions and millions, the Togolese people stormed the streets of the main cities throughout the Togolese territory to demand the unconditional and immediate return to the original Constitution of 1992 and its resignation!
In this situation, the demonstrations called on Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 September 2017 should be the occasion for a new demonstration of strength allowing the Togolese people, whose struggle enjoys increasing support worldwide, to impose these aspirations now unanimous throughout the country:
• 50 years, That's enough! • Return to the original Constitution of 1992 and voting rights for the Togolese of the Diaspora! • Faure Essozimna EYADEMA-GNASSINGBE: Resignation! Informed that the PNP and the political parties members of the CAP 2015 and GROUP OF 6, People's Health and the CAR renewed their call to participate in the Great Peace Marches in Lomé and the big cities of the interior of the country on Wednesday 20 and Thursday, September 21, 2017 for:
"On the one hand:
• to demand the return to the original Constitution of 14 October 1992, the revision of the electoral framework and the establishment of the right to vote of Togolese from abroad; on the other hand:
• denouncing the barbaric repression of the public peaceful demonstration on 19 and 20 August 2017, which left many dead and many wounded;
• demanding that an independent investigation be carried out to locate responsibilities and bring perpetrators to justice and those responsible for the violence of 19 and 20 August 2017,
• demand the immediate and unconditional release of all political prisoners, including those arrested during the peaceful public demonstrations on 19 and 20 August 2017 and sentenced to heavy prison sentences,
• calling for the immediate cessation of persecution, arrest, prosecution and violence against PNP militants and leaders;
• calling for an immediate end to the impediments to the exercise of the constitutional right to protest, workers in turn renewed the appeal he had already made to the Togolese people to take part massively in order to force Faure Essozimna EYADEMA-GNASSINGBE to the DEMISSION in order to put an end to the reign of his fiftieth dictatorial dynasty in Togo.
