As we announced yesterday in one of our publications, the government rejects the academic year 2017-2018 to October 2 next throughout the national territory.
Prior to September 25, 2017, the re-entry is finally postponed to 2 October. According to Public Service Minister Gilbert Bawara, "This redevelopment will also make it possible to take the necessary measures to ensure the effective enjoyment of health insurance and civil liability insurance for schoolgirls, schoolchildren and pupils benefiting from the" School Assur initiative ".
Last Monday, the Togo Education Unions Coordination (ETUC) and the government met to try to find definitive solutions to the problems posed by primary and secondary teachers.
They will meet again next Friday to continue discussions. It is hoped that before October 2, all problems will be resolved for a peaceful re-entry.
