Prohibition of Togolese demonstrations in Burkina Faso: Citizen's broom attacks the decision of the Mayor of Ouaga

Togolese residing in Burkina Faso wanted to demonstrate yesterday in the city of Ouagadougou. This, in support of their compatriots who struggle for freedom on the spot in Lomé and several cities of the country. But the municipal authorities of Ouaga have banned the demonstration. A situation denounced by the Balk Citizen movement. Read his statement!

Declaration of the Cuban Broom following the refusal of the town hall to authorize a Pacific demonstration of Togolese nationals living in Burkina Faso

Togolese nationals living in Burkina Faso and who wish to organize a march of support to their compatriots struggling in the country have just been refused this right by the mayor of Ouagadougou. Under the pretext that this demonstration can "create disturbances of public order, between the Togolese nationals in Burkina Faso and even the relations between our two republics", the Ouagadougou mayoralty simply put an end to inadmissibility.

This situation is incomprehensible and unacceptable when one recalls the all-out manifestations of Burkina Faso from outside Burkina Faso during the popular insurrection of 30 and 31 October 2014 and during the coup d'etat of 16 September 2015 to save the Burkina Faso. democracy in the land of honest men.

Le Balai Citoyen, who met with the initiators of this march this week at its headquarters in Ouagadougou for a joint organization, protests against this decision of Ouagadougou town hall, which is neither more nor less than an infringement of freedoms and the freedom of expression of Togolese nationals living in Burkina in particular, and describes this veiled refusal of support for the dictatorship of the liberticidal regime and assassin of President Faure Gnassingbe. This struggle by the Togolese people against the dynastic dictatorship of the Gnassingbe is irreversible.

In any event, the Broom Citizen dares to hope that all obstacles will be lifted quickly for the organization of this event.

John XII: The Pope who turned the Vatican to a Whorehouse

Octavianus was only 18 years old when he ascended the Papacy of the Roman Catholic Church and became Pope John XII on December 16, 955. He was the only son of Duke Alberic II (932–954) of Spoleto, then ruler of Rome. Alberic, before his death in 954, made Roman nobles swear at St. Peter's altar that they would make his son, Octavianus, pope at the first vacancy. Since the leaders loved the dying father, they kept their word to him and elected Octavianus as the 130th Roman Catholic Pope succeeding Pope Agapetus II after the pope’s death on November 8, 955. Octavianus adopted the apostolic name of John XII. He was the third pontiff to take a regnal name upon elevation to the papal chair; the first being Pope John II (533–535), whose birth name was Mercurius and the second, Pope John III (561–574), whose birth name was Catelinus. Right from the start, in relation to secular issues, the new pope issued his directives under the name of Octavianus, while in all matters relating t...
