Officially, the academic year 2017-2018 is scheduled for September 25th. Primary and secondary school teachers in the public sector set the conditions for a good start.
For the next school year, nothing is gained in advance. In any case, this is the finding that follows the general assembly of teachers grouped within the Coordination of Education Trade Unions of Togo (CSET), organized on 9 September last in the city of Notsè.
Indeed, the "comrades" demand "the need to sign a Coordination-Government agreement on the advantages relating to the special status of education pending its adoption before the 2017-2018 academic year, the final resolution of the CNSS problem, resolution of the problem of punitive mutations ... ".
The ETSB wants to put pressure on its interlocutors. It is from this perspective, reveals Le Correcteur this morning, that a notice of a 48-hour strike on September 25 and 26 would already be deposited on the table of who de jure.
We will return to this in more detail.
