Adébayor wants professional teammates!

The defeat (1-0) of the Sparrowhaws of Togo against the Fennecs of Algeria Sunday at Blida did not please Emmanuel Shéyi Adébayor. Even though the captain of the national team of Togo appreciates the performance of his (new) teammates, he intends to rectify the shooting for the next matches. No more defeat in the playoffs!

Togo international Emmanuel Shéyi Adébayor wants to achieve his very last victory (to qualify Togo at CAN Cameroon 2019) before leaving the nest of the spikes. After his duel against Algeria on Sunday in Blida, the new generation of Les Éperviers was given a veritable sermon in the locker room.

The elder's speech was a cocktail of remonstrances, advice and encouragement. According to the native of Kodjoviakopé, his team could have won this match if only all the Sparrowhaws took seriously the mission to which they are called.

"The best way for the country to be even more proud of us is to win the next games, be it the friendly matches or the official matches. We have to play all the games thoroughly and do all the training thoroughly You took the camp bonuses, the matches and it's to buy your work equipment, I do not want you to come back in selection without materials, "Emmanuel Adébayor told his teammates.

He said: "Your work equipment is very important, stop buying tablets and chargers, big players are soccer shoes, rollers, cables to stretch. ".

Clinging to the realization of his last national wish, the former citizen orders his teammates to stop giving pleasure. He instructed them to use their financial resources to equip and work hard in order to become professional players.

To qualify Togo at the CAN 2019, Basaksehir striker promises to bring together the players of the selection who will be on vacation for intensive sessions.

"The players who are in Lomé, I will find your numbers, we will make a program and we will work. There will not be a holiday, "he promised.

It should be noted that the next game of the Sharks counting for the qualifiers of CAN Cameroon 2019 will take place in Lomé in March 2018 against Benin.

Land degradation is a reality in Togo. According to figures put forward by the Ministry of the Environment, each year 4.14% of the land (nationally) succumb to the phenomenon. And it is in response to the problem that the Government launched last March, the Program of definition of the national targets on neutrality in land degradation (PDC / NDT). On Thursday in Lomé, environmental experts validated a document that will serve as a blueprint for sustainable land management in Togo. This document, which estimates that 23,500 hectares of land are degraded each year in Togo between 2000 and 2010, has already identified national targets assessed on the basis of indicators such as land use, net productivity or carbon. According to the Secretary General of the Ministry of Environment and Forest Resources, Sama Boundjouw, these targets and their measures to be validated will become guidelines for any actor involved in the fight against land degradation in Togo during the next twelve...
