Togolese soldier dies on mission in Burkina Faso

The Togolese Armed Forces (FAT) are in mourning. Lieutenant Gnassingbé Bouwedeou on mission in Burkina Faso died after a cardiac arrest.

His mortal remains were repatriated Sunday in Lomé and placed in the morgue waiting for his burial.

According to the sources, Lieutenant Gnassingbe Bouwedeou will be taken to his last residence with all honors, since the latter drew his bow in full mission.

Togo now has its plan to combat land degradation

Land degradation is a reality in Togo. According to figures put forward by the Ministry of the Environment, each year 4.14% of the land (nationally) succumb to the phenomenon.
