If hitting the gym or taking early morning jogs isn't your thing and you happen to have a protruding belly which isn't swollen with the child but fat, my dear you really need to watch what you eat! Of course, there's no certain food that loads fat into your tummy, fat is added to the whole of your body including your belly! Now down to the foods you shouldn't eat, check out this list.

Fried foods

I bet that plate of deep fried plantain and potatoes looks so yummy you can't possibly resist! Before you go grab that fried stuff you should know that while giving in to your cravings you are increasing your risk for fat gain, obesity, stroke etc. Fried foods and fast foods might seem delicious, stomach-filling and easy to grab but you should know that they pose a threat to your health.

Sugary drinks

A bottle of soft drink which most people can't do without after a meal contains a whopping amount of calories which can trigger your risk for heart disease and diabetes! Want some orange juice? Go for freshly squeezed oranges out of the fridge and ditch sugar-laden fruit juices.

Pastries

Baked goodies should be a NO NO for you, they are far from being nutritional, all they add to your body is more calories! Without the presence of fiber and protein in pastries they a bigger threat to your health as they are empty foods without nutritional content so ditch them except on rare occasions.

Salty foods

Curb your intake of salty foods as the sodium content causes water retention which can lead to a bloated body and belly. While cooking use a moderate amount of salt and avoid salty snacks.

John XII: The Pope who turned the Vatican to a Whorehouse

Octavianus was only 18 years old when he ascended the Papacy of the Roman Catholic Church and became Pope John XII on December 16, 955. He was the only son of Duke Alberic II (932–954) of Spoleto, then ruler of Rome. Alberic, before his death in 954, made Roman nobles swear at St. Peter's altar that they would make his son, Octavianus, pope at the first vacancy. Since the leaders loved the dying father, they kept their word to him and elected Octavianus as the 130th Roman Catholic Pope succeeding Pope Agapetus II after the pope’s death on November 8, 955. Octavianus adopted the apostolic name of John XII. He was the third pontiff to take a regnal name upon elevation to the papal chair; the first being Pope John II (533–535), whose birth name was Mercurius and the second, Pope John III (561–574), whose birth name was Catelinus. Right from the start, in relation to secular issues, the new pope issued his directives under the name of Octavianus, while in all matters relating t...
