Fake cosmetic products intercepted

Three containers filled with dermatological products passed for cosmetic products were seized by Togolese Customs at the Autonomous Port of Lomé. These tons of products intercepted Saturday come from India.

These products are actually intended for the treatment of skin infections. And their use is subject to the approval of the State and a medical prescription.

But smugglers, in order to pour these harmful products on the market, put them in packaging as simple cosmetics.

These products are unfortunately valued by women who are unaware of their harmful effects on the body.

Togo now has its plan to combat land degradation

Land degradation is a reality in Togo. According to figures put forward by the Ministry of the Environment, each year 4.14% of the land (nationally) succumb to the phenomenon.
