This is the theme chosen for the first edition of the Lebanese-Togolese Cultural Days, which had their apotheosis Friday at the house of Lebanon in Lomé. It was in the presence of the Minister of Culture, Guy Madjé Lorenzo, and diplomats to accredited in Togo.
According to Nadim Bassil, president of the Lebanese community in Togo, the objective of this event is to strengthen the bonds of fraternity between the two peoples.
"It is a first here in Togo, and the event is part of integration, I have asked my community to integrate and to work more in all the social economic activities of the country "He said.
These cultural days started a week ago and have seen several stages, the most important of which is devoted to training Togolese and Lebanese children in pottery and drawing.
On Friday, these award-winning works were exhibited in the house of Lebanon. Each child who took part in this training received a gift from the Lebanese Community in Togo.
