Police vehicle burned by smugglers

In spite of the victims with other enormous damage that it generates, the tracking to the sellers of contraband fuel enjoys its beautiful days in Togo. Clashes took place Tuesday between security forces and smugglers in the Baguida district.

Operation funnel did more damage yesterday. According to initial reports, smugglers aboard their vehicle were prosecuted by the security forces. The chase has resulted in material damage.

The smugglers allegedly set fire to the police vehicle before taking the gunpowder. This time, no casualties are reported except for physical damage.

We learn that the rioters, revolted, have not ceased to insult the security forces.

Togo now has its plan to combat land degradation

Land degradation is a reality in Togo. According to figures put forward by the Ministry of the Environment, each year 4.14% of the land (nationally) succumb to the phenomenon.
