Announced in early April, but ultimately rejected, Asky will open the Lomé-Johannesburg route from 2 June with 4 weekly flights.
The regional company based in Togo hopes to achieve high filling rates thanks to its network which allows it to pass through its Lomé hub passengers from West and Central Africa.
The flights will be operated in Boeing 737-800 (154 seats including 16 in business).
The company, of which Ethiopian Airlines is a shareholder, is also planning to operate flights to Beirut and Europe.
