On Wednesday, the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and African Integration served as a framework for the activities of the second edition of the African Integration Week under the theme "Youth, a Pillar for a Better integration ".
There are about 20 African communities to take part in the activities. Dressed in traditional dress, men, women and children of the communities present, among others, Central African, Senegalese, Chadian, Guinean, Malian, Nigerian, Nigerian, Egyptian, Gabonese, Beninese, Congolese, Ghanaian, sketched dance steps from their homes To brighten the audience in the midst of which the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs is noted, Robert Dussey.
After the various folk dances, the visit of the stands took place with the tasting of the dishes of various communities.
According to Cecile Kouméalo Anaté, Director of Integration, youth is honored because it has a role to play in the process of African integration.
"We are here to draw the attention of young people because they have a role to play in the process of development of Africa that we want. A prosperous and integrated Africa. We work with young people in 22 communities, but we still invite all of Africa. We will try to integrate the other communities that are still hesitant, "she said.
