Top officials arrested in Lome

The company Top Potentiel, located in Lomé, is in a turmoil. Its CEO, Sébastien Kossi Kpago and his spouse Désirée Solange Mappe Tagatio, administrative and financial director in the same box, are under lock and key.

This company hides behind its official activity, personal development to rip off. The Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) has received several complaints of fraud, breach of trust and grouping of criminals in this sense.

According to information gathered from sources, Top Potentiel, which operates in the "Integral Wellness, also distributes Stemtech products in Lomé and counts nearly 6 thousand members in Togo" through "a vast network of scam".

According to the explanations of Somialo Potcholi-Kadja, Senior Police Commissioner, quoted by this source, Sébastien Kossi Kpago and his wife use "fraudulent tactics to bait their victims by developing an investment component of their activities". So they offer the public a real estate pack and a diamond pack.

"The real estate package, which costs $ 1 million, should be used to invest in real estate in order to receive 600,000 francs per quarter for 9 months, or 1.8 million more. As for the diamond pack which costs 500,000 CFA francs, it entitles to 62,000 FCFA per month. An adherent to this package will thus receive the sum of 744 000 Fcfa in addition to the 500 000 Fcfa invested, that is 1 244 000 Fcfa. The greater the number of packs purchased, the greater the profit, "the source said.

These investment proposals attract several Togolese. But in the end, Top Potentiel can not pay the funds invested nor the commissions. There are many to be had in this grotesque montage. The sum of the damage is estimated at 88. 243. 400 FCFA. The couple Kpago clears all responsibility.

The bad move of this company is also reported in Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire ...

Ibeji (Twins) In Yoruba land, one of the most important things done when a child is born is to give the child a name. This comes after the child’s ritual birth, massage of specific body parts and other rites as well. Names are given to the child by the father, mother, grandparents (paternal and maternal) and some close relatives also. But sometimes, the circumstance of a child’s birth will automatically give the child a name. This name is known as ‘orúko àmútọ̀runwá’ (pre-destined or generic name) in Yorubaland. The most common generic names (orúko àmútọ̀runwá) in Yoruba land are ‘Taiwo‘ and ‘Kehinde‘ (altogether known as Ìbejì) which are given to twins. The first born of the twins is called Táíwò, a shortened form of Tò-aiyé-wò (taste the world) while the last born of the twins is called Kéhìndé which literally means “the last to come”.
