Nigerian thief arrested in Lome



Apprehended on 17 May by the national police, a suspected thief of Nigerian origin was presented to the press on Tuesday.


Boubacar Adamou Adam, 29 years old and residing in the Baguida district, is mainly engaged in burglary. During his presentation, the national police revealed that the suspected thief, to enter the homes and rooms of his targets, uses a jack.

With this object, it removes the protective bars of the windows and goes to the act without any difficulty. His numerous operations have already allowed him to gather a large sum of money and other valuables.

Decoders, machetes, overhead projectors, power-banks, his tools of operation were discovered at his home during the searches.

Boubacar Adamou will be presented to the Public Prosecutor to answer for his actions.

Togo now has its plan to combat land degradation

Land degradation is a reality in Togo. According to figures put forward by the Ministry of the Environment, each year 4.14% of the land (nationally) succumb to the phenomenon. And it is in response to the problem that the Government launched last March, the Program of definition of the national targets on neutrality in land degradation (PDC / NDT).
