Why breast health is so important



There is a myriad of reasons why you should give your breasts the utmost attention. Apart from the fact that our men are crazy about these beauties that grace our chests and make you feel womanly, they are what we feed our children. They allow you the opportunity to forge deep bonds with your babies (while breastfeeding). They are practically some sort of life source. Therefore, you can’t afford to be nonchalant about them.

First of all, there are many breast anomalies that you must protect yourself against. Thus, the same way you fret about your face is the same way you should about your breasts, and even more.

To guard these priced possessions there are few things you should do and the most paramount is to know your breasts. Be familiar with the shape, weight and feel so that if anything is out of place you would know. Ideally, go for mammograms monthly.

Also, when it comes to breast health, what you ingest is very important. Eat balanced meals, desist from alcohol and cigarettes or too much caffeine (causes really saggy breasts).

Remember that the skin around your breasts is very delicate so do well to moisturize properly to avoid chaffing from constant friction with your underwear. Also, don’t wear the wrong bra size. Wear what supports properly to avoid sagging, back pain or abrasions.

Make sure you are also active and exercise regularly. This is a quick tip to get the girls to be perky and healthy. It is a preventive measure to reduce the risk of breast cancer. Follow these simple tips religiously because breasts not only give life to our young (so to speak) but are symbols of womanhood, to a great extent.

Togo now has its plan to combat land degradation

Land degradation is a reality in Togo. According to figures put forward by the Ministry of the Environment, each year 4.14% of the land (nationally) succumb to the phenomenon. And it is in response to the problem that the Government launched last March, the Program of definition of the national targets on neutrality in land degradation (PDC / NDT). On Thursday in Lomé, environmental experts validated a document that will serve as a blueprint for sustainable land management in Togo. This document, which estimates that 23,500 hectares of land are degraded each year in Togo between 2000 and 2010, has already identified national targets assessed on the basis of indicators such as land use, net productivity or carbon.
