Against popular belief that only aged couples use separate bedrooms, many married couples are now attesting to the fact that sleeping apart from their spouse is actually helping their relationship! Huh, that sounds a Lil bit off right? Sure.
It's somehow hard to imagine that sleeping separately works for couples when it's generally believed that when a spouse takes to the guest room for the night, it means a conflict is ongoing in the marriage.
While sleeping together at night is likened to an everyday ritual in our world, don't you think trying something new might be amazing for a change?! You get to do all the fun things you never could do with your spouse sleeping beside you and you can also get a good night's sleep without your partner snoring into your ears all night!
Am totally into this 'separate bedroom thing' because it enhances more 'me' time for couples and what's more being away from your partner at night can possibly spice up your relationship when you get naughty and tiptoe to the other room at night!
For the record, there's nothing wrong with couples sleeping separately, it's totally up to you to decide if you trust your partner enough to give him some space. It's essential to ward away the notion that to have a happy marriage, you need to stay entwined to with your partner every night. Yes, that helps but sleeping separately doesn't destroy a relationship instead it makes your longing for each other escalate more and you both look forward to nights you'll be together.
If you are happy sleeping with your partner every night, sure keep it going but if you usually stay awake all night resenting your partner mode of sleeping you might want to change your sleeping arrangements.
