For the second time, the association of bakers of Togo celebrates the feast of bread. Bread, this food that has returned to the daily lives of the people. Whether at breakfast, lunch or dinner, bread is desired.
From 15 to 21 May, it is the International Bread Week. In Togo, bakers have chosen May 19 to celebrate the theme "Eat a healthy bread".
The managers want to make people understand the correctness of strict compliance with bread production standards. In this context, they urged producers to use the products approved for the production of bread.
To mark the day, 3,000 breads were offered to residents of the Lomé Civil Prison on Thursday. This Saturday, a caravan is planned on the arteries of the city of Lomé with distribution of bread with the bakers from Benin and Ghana.
